Application Guidelines
Surface Preparation: Steel pipes should be wire-brushed (St 2) or grit-blasted (Sa 2) to remove loose rust and mill scale. Surface must be dry and free of oil/grease.
Method: May be applied by brush, roller, or airless spray. For underground immersion, a minimum of two coats is recommended to achieve a Dry Film Thickness (DFT) of 150-200 microns.
Thinning: Generally not required. If necessary, use White Spirit (max 5%).
SAFETY NOTICE: Contains flammable solvents. Use in well-ventilated areas. For underground pipes, ensure the coating is fully hard-dry before backfilling to prevent soil-stress damage to the green film.
