Management Trainee Selection and One-Year Training Program
Purpose: This SOP defines the standard process for selection, screening, interview, offer issuance, NDA execution, and one-year training of Management Trainees for technical and non-technical roles supporting paint manufacturing units and surface coating operations.
1. Program Overview
SaitechLabs conducts a structured Management Trainee selection and training program to identify suitable candidates for technical and non-technical roles connected with paint manufacturing units and allied business operations. The process includes screening tests, interviews, offer letter issue, NDA and training agreement, followed by one year of guided training.
Technical Stream
Candidates from Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering backgrounds will be considered for technical training and deployment in suitable departments.
Non-Technical Stream
Candidates with any degree and basic skills in communication, numerical ability, computation, and business management will be considered for non-technical training.
Training Duration
The training period shall be for one year, subject to performance, discipline, confidentiality, and departmental suitability.
Placement Basis
Placement after training shall be based on performance, aptitude, discipline, suitability, and operational requirement.

3. Selection Stages

Registration
Interested candidates shall apply online through the SaitechLabs registration link.

Week 1 - Screening Test
Candidates shall undergo a screening test to assess foundational suitability.

Week 2 - Interview
Shortlisted candidates shall attend interview rounds for stream-wise evaluation.

Offer Letter
Selected candidates shall receive provisional offer letters.

NDA & Agreement
Candidates must sign NDA and one-year training agreement before joining.

One-Year Training
Candidates will undergo structured departmental training under supervision.

5. Interview Process
Candidates shortlisted from the screening test shall be invited for interview during the following week. The interview panel may assess the candidate on:

- Willingness to undergo one-year training under company norms
6. Offer Letter and Joining Formalities
- Candidates selected after interview shall be issued a provisional offer letter.
- The offer shall indicate stream, training nature, broad department options, and joining conditions.
- Before commencement of training, the candidate must complete documentation formalities.
- Confidentiality, discipline, and ethical conduct are mandatory requirements.
7. NDA and One-Year Training Agreement
Every selected candidate shall execute:
- A Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to protect confidential technical, business, operational, customer, and process information.
- A One-Year Training Agreement confirming commitment to undergo the prescribed training period.
Important: The training period is intended for structured learning, evaluation, and role suitability assessment. Final placement shall be considered only after satisfactory completion of training and internal review.
8. Training Structure
Technical Training
- Department rotation in production, lab, QC, process support, maintenance, and technical service
- Basic understanding of raw materials, processes, testing, safety, and reporting
- Industrial observation, troubleshooting support, and operational discipline
Non-Technical Training
- Department exposure in purchase, sales coordination, accounts support, HR, admin, operations, and IT-enabled systems
- Training in documentation, communication, reporting, coordination, and business support processes
- Digital workflow discipline and remote operational support practices
9. Outcome After Training
On successful completion of the one-year training, eligible candidates may be considered for placement in suitable positions according to:
